Binh Nguyen
President of Field Operations

Mr. Nguyen is a eight year USMC veteran. He served three years as a Marine Embassy Guard at American Embassies Tokyo, Japan and San Salvador, El Salvador and American Consulate Frankfurt, Germany. He provided direct support to the American Diplomatic Mission by protecting classified material, personnel and property. In addition to his daily security duties, he implemented numerous emergency (REACT) plans in areas such as Active Shooter, Demonstration, and Natural Disaster.

Binh has one combat deployment with Security Company, CLB-1 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF 9.2). His distinguished service has earned him numerous awards and commendations. He was honorably discharged in 2011.

Mr. Nguyen next spent four years working as a Independent Defense Contractor at the American Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq. He provided close Executive Protection for American and foreign diplomats and dignitaries. He served as Tactical Commander on numerous details including both low and high profile teams, as well as the Quick Reaction Force (QRF) and Tactical Support Team (TST). He earned several Letters of Commendation and Certificates of Achievement for performance from the Department of State’s Regional Security Office in Baghdad.

Mr. Nguyen is a licensed NRA rifle and pistol instructor.

Zachary Navo
President of Corporate Operations

Zachary was born and raised in Visalia, California and attended Redwood High School in Visalia, California. Upon completion of High School, Zachary enlisted in The United States Marine Corps and served 5 years of active duty from 2001 until 2006. Upon completion of service, Zachary joined in the family business of Insurance and Financial Services. Zachary worked alongside his father Mark Navo with Navo Insurance Agency Inc. with Allstate Insurance Company from 2006 until 2011.

In 2011, Zachary branched away from his father’s agency and founded Navo Financial Inc., an independent Insurance and Financial Services Agency in Visalia, CA. Since founding Navo Financial Inc. in 2011, Zachary has developed an strong affiliation with the largest and most financial stable insurance carriers and markets in the industry.

Zachary has a wealth of knowledge in both the commercial and personal insurance markets and has an outstanding understanding of the constantly changing and always evolving insurance marketplace. Zachary is the overall director of operations and sales at Navo Financial Inc., and has won many company awards and accolades while at Navo Financial Inc. His professional experience in the business world and military background make him an integral part of ESSI's daily corporate operations.

Leonard Rosson
Director of Training

Mr. Rosson is a 16 year law enforcement veteran with experience in both County and Municipal Police Services. In addition to the assignment of Police Sergeant, Leonard is a decorated Law Enforcement Instructor, teaching a variety of topics including: Force Options, Firearms, Impact Weapons, Unarmed Defensive Tactics, Taser and Chemical Agents. He has been awarded Master Instructor Certification by the State of California’s Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) and has developed and designed training for the State; most notably “Rapid Response Tactics for Small Agencies.” Mr. Rosson has served as a Lead Instructor and Recruit Training Officer at two regional Police Academies.

In addition to academy level instruction, Leonard has instructed numerous Advanced Officer Training Courses to senior law enforcement officers throughout the State of California. Leonard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Organizational Management from Fresno Pacific University and a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology.

Leonard is also a decorated Martial Artist. He began his training under his father, Sensei Leonard Rosson Sr. and his uncle, Hanshi Ken Rosson, both of whom were inducted into a Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Leonard is trained in Goju Karate, Aiki Jiu-Jitsu and Shudokan Ryu Taiho Jutsu holding the rank of Sensei (Nidan). In 2007, Leonard was inducted into the Master’s Hall of Fame for Martial Arts along with such notable Martial Artists as UFC Heavy Weight Champion, Randy Couture, Eric Lee, Richard Rabago and others. In 2010, Leonard was honored with induction into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
